UNSC Engineering Corps

UNSC Engineering Corps, abbreviated ENGCORP, is a department in the UNSC High Command that is responsible for human exploration, surveying planets viable for colonization, and conducting other relatable research to colonization and terraforming. On June 24th, 2554, Captain Yeromi Dai reported discovering the debris field of two celestial bodies that had collided with each other roughly seven centuries ago. On July 3rd, 2554, survey teams investigate the largest objects in the debris field and find a clearly-mechanical massive arch. The mechanical arch proves that intelligent life had once thrived and built enormous structures on XSV-084. The Office of Naval Intelligence assumed operational control over this collision site and he all recoverable technologies and artifacts transferred to NERO Facility.
